Image & Video Focus Point

Written by Malte Nielsen

You can now position your image or video in the best possible way. To do this, move the turquoise dot to the point where you want to set the focus. For example, on an object or any other area of your image. The set focus point ensures that the desired part of your image or video is automatically visible and remains so, regardless of how large or small your readers' screens are.

Example: 16:9 video without using the focus point. The focus point is always centered by default.

Example: 16:9 video after changing the focus point. The main subject (the person at the Christmas market) appears in the center. She is the chosen focus of the video.

Note: This function replaces the previous Background Media Position function in the editor, which is why you will no longer find this field in the function bar.
