Expand your project colors with foreground and background colors

Written by Malte Nielsen

To make project colors even more intuitive to use, we have added a foreground and background color to the project settings. Especially when using Novamag templates in your own style (select “My Style”), it makes sense to maintain all main colors completely.

The foreground color affects all text, icons, labels, and lines in the widgets.

The background color affects the background area of the top page level.

Once you have defined your project colors and chosen an output template for your own template style, your defined main colors will be automatically transferred to the template. This also applies to individual templates and newly created pages.

For example, if black is defined as the foreground color in the original template, but your foreground color is dark gray, it will be overwritten with dark gray.

If you change your foreground and background colors in the project settings during the creation process, this will automatically affect every page of your output/s in the project.

These color settings save you a lot of work, as you no longer have to adjust individual pages manually.
