Reach your audience worldwide: With the “Multilingual” feature, you can create and manage your digital magazine in multiple languages.
The “Multilingual” add-on is required to use this feature. If it is not yet included in your license, please contact [email protected].
You can easily add another language via the issue options:
In the selection menu, choose your desired language from all currently supported languages. Additional languages are available on request. You can also remove added languages at any time via the language options.
In the selection menu, you can rename the issue directly in the new language and decide with a click whether the language should be applied to all existing pages. If you disable the toggle, you can decide individually for each page in the page overview whether and which language should be added.
Each language version appears under the original German issue and is managed as a single issue. Content from the default language is automatically copied and can then be customized individually.
Via “Edit”, you can access all language versions and switch between them using the dropdown in the top left.
Each language version has its own issues, pages, and metadata, as well as its own status field — also on page level. This allows content to be published independently for each language.
If you are in the page overview of a specific language, new pages will only be created in that language. Additional languages can then be added manually via the plus icon.
If you want to remove a language from a specific page, you can do so via the page option “Delete language(s)”.
You can also easily switch between the different language versions in the editor using a dropdown. This allows you to create and manage content quickly and efficiently per language.
