With the new Timeline Widget, you can tell a story step by step: the history of a company, the progress of a project or the schedule of an event. Each entry has a Label, such as a date, and its matching Content. A continuous line connects all entries.
How to use it
Add the Timeline widget from the Layout category. It starts with three sample entries.
Under Items, adjust the Label and Content of each entry or add more entries.
Use Item content type to choose how you fill the entries: with Text, you write everything right in the settings; with Custom content, you drag any widgets, like images or videos, into each entry.
Under Label position, choose whether the date sits Above the text or Opposite the text. With “Opposite the text”, the date stays visible next to its entry while you scroll.
Made to match your magazine
Under Marker, pick a Dot in your own color and size, or leave it out entirely. Under Connector line, set the color and Thickness of the line. In Text mode, you can also style the font and color of the label and the content separately.
Use Alignment to place the timeline on the left, in the center or on the right. With center alignment, you choose which Side each entry sits on. On small screens like smartphones, all entries automatically line up in a single column.
