With the new Go-live assistant, you take a publication online in one step. Your project, the publication and the pages you selected are published together, so there is nothing left to switch on one by one. If your project doesn't have an address yet, it gets one automatically.
How to use it
In your Publications overview, click Go-live assistant at the top and choose what goes live under Publication and language.
Under Pages, every page with content is already selected. Subpages go live together with their parent page. If an address still contains "-copy" (for example after duplicating), click Fix to correct it right in the list.
Under Checks, you see what is still missing before launch: imprint, privacy policy, cookie banner, SEO details, your domain, and whether search engines may find your magazine. These are only hints, you can still go live. You can switch on the cookie banner and, if booked, password protection right inside the assistant.
Under Confirm, you see everything at a glance: how many pages go live, where the publication sits in the archive (use Reorder publications to change the order) and what your domain opens. With Make this the start, your domain points straight to the new publication. Then click Go live.
At the end, you get the link to your publication ready to copy, and Open magazine takes you straight to the result.
Tip: You can also open the assistant from the pages overview of a publication, as long as it isn't live yet. And when you pick Published in a publication's status, Novamag asks whether you want to open the assistant or only set the status. Owners and admins can take a magazine live.
