Hyphenation in typography widgets

Written by Malte Nielsen

You can now specify whether your texts should include hyphenation (hyphenation: auto). Alternatively, you can disable hyphenation (hyphenation: none) so that words are moved to the next line in their entirety if they are too long or the maximum space in the line has been reached.

This feature can be found wherever typography can be styled (Widgets: Heading, Text Editor, and Link).

The setting can be adjusted separately for different devices — indicated by the device icon.

You can also control hyphenation globally in the project settings >> Styles for your project. The setting will then be applied to your magazine pages if the corresponding styling (H1, H2, H3, etc.) has been selected for the widget.
